Who we are

TalentWell Pty Ltd (“TalentWell”, “we”, “us”) is an Australian pharmacy recruitment business. We place pharmacists, pharmacy managers, interns, locums and working partners with community pharmacies in Australia, and we help overseas-trained pharmacists find roles here. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

From pharmacists and other candidates: your name, email address, phone number, the town or country you live and practise in, your Ahpra registration number and registration type, your qualifications and experience, the dispensing software you have used, where and when you would work, your visa situation, and your English test results. We also collect the documents you upload, such as your resume, Ahpra registration, English test certificate, OPRA result and cover letter. If you create an overseas pharmacist profile, we also hold your login details and any video introduction you choose to record.

From pharmacy owners and employers: your name, email address and mobile number, your pharmacy’s name, address and ABN, and the details of the role you want filled. If you ask for access to our overseas pharmacist library, we also hold your login details.

From anyone who uses the website: your email address if you subscribe to our job alerts, and information about how you use the site, such as the pages you visit, your browser and device, and your IP address. This is collected through Google Analytics, our web host’s traffic tools and our website security firewall.

How we collect it

We collect most personal information directly from you, when you fill in a form on this website, upload a document or video, email us or speak with us. We check Ahpra registration numbers against the public Ahpra register. We may also collect information about you from referees you nominate, with your agreement.

Why we collect it

• To assess you for roles and match you with pharmacies, or to find a pharmacist for your pharmacy.
• To check your registration and English results against the thresholds we work to.
• To contact you about roles, placements and owners who ask to meet you.
• To send you job alerts, if you have subscribed. Every alert has an unsubscribe link.
• To run, secure and improve this website.

If you do not give us the information a form asks for, we may not be able to help you.

Who we share it with

Pharmacy owners. If you list an overseas pharmacist profile, approved Australian pharmacy owners can see the details you agreed to when you listed. That covers your first name, the country you are registered in, your Ahpra registration type and verification, your qualifications and institution, your experience, the dispensing software you have used, where you would work, your visa situation, the profile summary from your resume and any video introduction you add. Your surname, contact details and documents are not shown. When an owner asks to meet you, we contact you first, and we only pass your details on with your agreement.

Service providers. We use outside providers to run our services: website hosting and security (GoDaddy and Sucuri), video hosting (Cloudflare), email (Microsoft 365), job-alert emails (Kit) and website analytics (Google). They handle personal information only to provide their service to us.

We do not sell personal information.

Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. Where that happens, we choose providers that protect personal information.

How we keep it secure

Documents you upload are kept in private storage that is not publicly reachable. Candidate profiles are checked by a person before anything is shown to owners. Videos play only on talentwell.com.au, for approved owners. Access to our systems is limited to the people who need it.

Cookies

This website uses cookies to keep you logged in and to measure how the site is used through Google Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, some parts of the site, such as logging in, may not work.

Accessing and correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. If you have an overseas pharmacist profile, you can update it or hide it from owners at any time by logging in. You can also ask us to delete your profile and documents. Email us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
